Have you had a recent trauma or frightening incident that has left you reeling in physical and emotional pain? Perhaps you've witnessed or endured multiple terrible events throughout your lifetime and it's left you feeling lost, disconnected, lonely, or afraid? Maybe these feelings have caused you to behave in ways that are destructive to important relationships in your life, taking you away from your goals, or leaving you feeling even worse? I want you to know there is hope. Proven methods of therapy have been designed and researched that relieve the suffering caused by all kinds of traumatic events and I can help you.
Walking with my client through this journey is a privilege. My passion is to provide a space for you to work through past present or even future desired experiences.
You deserve a therapist that understands the importance of having a strong relationship with you and is careful and thoughtful when guiding you through each stage of the process of therapy. It is my passion to be that therapist for you. Together we can get your life back.
I have been trained in a variety of techniques and tools that are powerful to help clients experience personal growth and move past history's and events that kept them stuck and in pain for too long.
The primary evidence-based methods that I am skilled to provide in therapy include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
I graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Sociology and pursued my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Seton Hall University. As an LPC-Intern, I am supervised by Leslie Larson, LPC-S.
