Groups prove to be a valuable source of support, compassion, and proof that you are NOT alone. Bray Counseling offers a variety of group therapy options led by one or more licensed mental health clinicians with specialized training, who teach and guide group members by using proven evidenced-based strategies for managing specific issues.
Group therapy offers distinct benefits that include:
- A safe and comfortable environment for discussing troubling issues and concerns.
- An affirmation of the fact that you are not alone in the difficulties that you are dealing with.
- An opportunity to improve interpersonal relationship skills through a structured framework for social interactions.
- The instillation of hope and accountability.
For some clients, a combination of individual counseling and group therapy can be the ideal mix, depending on their current needs.
