Evidence-Based Practices

We are committed to therapies that work. That’s why we pay close attention to the latest studies and research.

Our focus on evidence-based practices means that the outcomes of rigorous and scientific inquiry factor into how we engage with patients to achieve lasting change.

Four specific types of evidence-based therapies that research has found to be particularly effective are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Therapist at Bray Counseling utilize evidence-based practices, their natural clinical instincts, and a breadth of experience to individually tailor therapy for each client. Our clinicians take an educated and strategic approach when counseling. All clinicians regularly continue their clinical education, keep up with the newest research findings, and are provided supervision to ensure all of Bray Counseling standards are met.
